Taichi Lock

Taichi Lock helps you pause distracting apps and return to your phone with more intention. Choose the apps you want to pause, complete a short Tai Chi-inspired movement or breathing reset, and unlock your apps for a timed session.

HOW IT WORKS

• Select the apps you want to pause
• Start a focus session
• When a paused app is opened, Taichi Lock guides you back to a short reset
• Complete the reset to unlock your selected apps for a limited time
• Receive reminders when your unlock window ends

ACCESSIBILITYSERVICE API DISCLOSURE

Taichi Lock uses Android’s AccessibilityService API to detect when you open an app that you have personally selected for pausing. This allows Taichi Lock to show a pause screen and guide you through a short movement or breathing reset before returning to the selected app.

Taichi Lock does not use AccessibilityService to read private messages, record audio, collect passwords, change device settings without permission, bypass Android privacy controls, or prevent you from disabling or uninstalling the app.

Accessibility permission is optional and is used only for the app-pause and mindful-unlock functionality described above. You can enable or disable Accessibility permission at any time in Android settings.
