Inkwell Press

Inkwell Press is a quiet habit streak tracker drawn as a letterpress print shop. Every habit is a line of type. Keep it today and you pull one impression; the streak is a galley filling line by line — set type stacking up, edition by edition. Miss a day and the press simply rests; the type stays set on the bench, ready for the next pull.

THE FORME (home)
The home screen is your shop. A PRESS BED at the top inks up a sheet for every habit kept today, with the day's count beside it. Below, under TODAY'S FORME, each habit gets a card where the square type-sort toggle sits on the LEFT edge of the card: tap the sort to pull today's impression, tap the name to step in. The card carries the habit name, the streak in plain words, a composing stick of set sorts, and the last seven days as a row of small sheets. Two wide doors sit at the bottom of the screen — one to the Galley, one to the Composing Room.

THE IMPRESSIONS (per-habit detail)
Every habit has its own screen. A galley of ragged set-type lines rises beside the headline streak, line by line, to the current run — with three figures below: best streak ever, 30-day completion rate, and total pulls. Then comes THE IMPRESSIONS: a full month calendar where every printed day is inked in the habit's color and today is ringed in ochre. Tap any past day to correct the impression.

THE GALLEY (overview)
The galley ranks all your streaks by how deep they run — the longest first, each shown as its own composing stick of sorts. Four figures sit above the ranking: your longest run now, your best ever, how many habits are still in print, and the total impressions you have pulled across the whole shop. A fourteen-day strip shows how steady the work has been.

THE COMPOSING ROOM (set new lines + settings)
The composing room is where you set new lines and tend the ones you have. Name a habit, choose an ink — Vermillion, Slate Ink, Ochre or Umber — set a weekly aim, and set the line. Existing habits can be renamed, re-inked, re-aimed, reordered, or melted down. The same screen holds your preferences: haptic feedback, the warm ink-black shop palette, and whether the week starts on Monday.

Inkwell Press ships with four starter lines so the shop is never bare, and you can clear them and set your own at any time. Everything lives only on your device — there is no account, no cloud, no sync, no notifications, and nothing is ever sent anywhere. It does not gamify, nag, or guilt. It simply gives you a line to set, and a streak that grows by being kept.
