Kiln Android

Kiln

Habit streak tracker — one coil a day.

Overview

Features & Capabilities

Kiln is a quiet habit streak tracker drawn as a potter's studio. Every habit is a coil pot. Keep it today and you lay another ring of clay; the streak is how tall and complete the pot has grown — foot, belly, shoulder, rim. Miss a day and the wheel simply rests; the pot stays on the bench, waiting for the next coil.

THE WHEEL (home)
The home screen is your studio. A KILN-SHELF hero at the top lines up a little pot for every habit on a wood bench — each one risen to its real streak — with the day's count beside it. Below, each habit gets a row where the round potter's-wheel toggle FLOATS beside the card rather than sitting inside it: tap the wheel to lay today's coil, tap the card to step in. The card itself carries the name, the streak in plain words, the last seven days as a small stack of bands, and the pot itself rising on the card's right edge.

THE FIRING (per-habit detail)
Every habit has its own screen. A large coil pot stands in its frame, raised band by band to the current streak, with the headline streak below and three figures beneath that — best streak ever, 30-day completion rate, and total coils laid. Then comes THE FIRING: a full month calendar where every shaped day is glazed in the pot's color and today is ringed in amber. Tap any past day to correct the firing.

THE SHELF (overview)
The shelf ranks all your pots by how tall they stand — the longest streaks first. Four figures sit above the ranking: your tallest pot right now, your best ever, how many pots are still on the wheel, and the total coils you have laid across the whole studio. A fourteen-day strip shows how steady the work has been.

THE STUDIO (throw new pots + settings)
The studio is where you throw new pots and tend the ones you have. Name a habit, choose a glaze color — Terracotta, Celadon, Amber or Cobalt — set a weekly aim, and throw the pot. Existing habits can be renamed, re-glazed, re-aimed, reordered, or broken in place. The same screen holds your preferences: haptic feedback, the dark studio-dusk palette, and whether the week starts on Monday.

Kiln ships with four starter pots so the studio is never bare, and you can clear them and throw your own at any time. Everything lives only on your device — there is no account, no cloud, no sync, no notifications, and nothing is ever sent anywhere. It does not gamify, nag, or guilt. It simply gives you a pot to raise, and a streak that grows by being kept.

One coil a day, raise the pot.
