Plan volunteer shifts for your community kitchen with Kitchen Magnet, a simple offline roster that works like a magnetic whiteboard on your fridge. Write a helper's name, pick a role, and save the shift instantly with no accounts or internet required. The Dashboard gives you a quick snapshot with two magnetic counter timers showing how many shifts are coming this week and how many unique volunteers are scheduled this month. From the Dashboard you can jump directly to the Add tab to create a new shift in seconds. When you open the Upcoming tab, all future shifts appear in a clean list sorted by date, and you can search for a volunteer's name or swipe a card to delete it. Tapping any shift card lets you edit the name, role, date, or optional notes and update the record right away. Past shifts automatically move to the History tab, where they are kept newest-first so you can review who helped on previous days. Both the Upcoming and History lists show each shift as a white magnet card with a role-colored left border, the volunteer's name in marker script, and a small clock icon for the date. The Add screen uses simple native inputs with a text field for the name, a dropdown to choose Prep, Serving, or Clean‑up, a date picker, and an optional notes field for details like allergies or special timing. Pressing the Save Shift button immediately adds a magnet-style card to your board with a quick visual snap, and all information stays securely on your device. You can update any detail by tapping a card, and delete shifts you no longer need with a swipe. Because everything is stored locally, you can open the app anywhere, even without a connection, and your roster is always private and ready. Kitchen Magnet turns shift coordination into a straightforward, satisfying routine that feels as natural as writing on a whiteboard, helping you focus on serving meals, not managing schedules.
