Rosterlamp is a simple volunteer coordination app designed for neighborhood events, community meetups, and local helper rosters. It helps you track every shift in one place with the key details that matter: volunteer role, time slot, status, and a short note. Use it for real event tasks such as food table setup, sign-in desk coverage, chair arranging, cleanup rounds, and donation sorting. The Board tab organizes shifts into clear Open, Filled, and Done columns, making it easy to see coverage at a glance. Each shift card highlights the role and time slot so you can scan the board quickly during a busy event. The Shifts tab gives you the full editable list, where you can add new shifts, update existing ones, delete entries, and sort by role or time slot. The Search tab lets you instantly filter shifts by role, status, time slot, or note to find exactly what you need. The Today tab focuses on the most relevant shifts with large time displays, visible status chips, and quick actions to change status on the spot. A built-in dashboard shows counters for Open, Filled, and Done shifts, along with a fast way to create a new shift and a preview of the next three upcoming time slots. The workflow is straightforward: create a shift, review it, edit details as plans change, and mark it complete when the task is done. Short forms keep data entry fast, so you can log roles and meetup details without slowing down your team. All shifts are stored locally on your device, which makes the app useful even when you don't have network access. This offline setup is ideal for community centers, volunteer leads, and mutual aid groups managing simple schedules on one phone.
