Tabrisen

Tabrisen helps you control a busy window without breaking your flow. See every tab in a tidy list, filter by title or site, and select only what matters. Pin or unpin, mute or unmute, move groups to the start or end, and close what you no longer need. When the strip gets crowded, a single Rise Sweep closes duplicates, optionally discards background tabs to free memory, and sorts the rest by site or title so related work stays together. If a page itself feels loud, you can toggle a gentle fog overlay on demand to calm the view—no content runs automatically.

The add-on keeps capabilities narrow and transparent. It uses tabs to list, move, pin, mute, discard, and close tabs, activeTab to inject the optional fog overlay only after you click the button, and storage to remember your preferences like sort order and close confirmation threshold. There are no inline scripts, no unsafe innerHTML, no remote code, and no analytics. All code ships with the add-on to meet AMO policy. A keyboard shortcut (Alt+Shift+R) triggers Rise Sweep from anywhere.
