Psychological Tab Manager helps you Pavlov yourself into closing old tabs more often by playing amazing sounds and voicelines upon closing a tab that has been open and unused for a long time.

It comes with an easy-to-use control panel featuring a funky, eye-catching design and options for customization, like changing the played sound and the timeout until it's triggered.

The measurement for how long a tab has been open is saved between sessions! Because tabs mainly pile up when restoring last open tabs on the next launch.

You can select from a pre-defined list of sounds to play or even upload your own!

Also available for chromium-based browsers! Just click on "Homepage" in the extension menu to get to the GitHub repository.

You might notice that it is not possible to select a custom sound, since the popup window closes when opening the file picker. You can get around this by following these steps:

Go to about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox
Find 'Psychological Tab Manager' and click on "Inspect"
Click on the three dots '...' in the top right corner
Enable "Disable Popup Auto-Hide"

This property resets when you close the developer console.
