User reviews
I'm obsessed with this app, it's the absolute BEST tool I've found as a writer. I almost exclusively read on Kindle and I'm an avid highlighter. I collect all sorts of writing inspiration but until I discovered Clippings I didn't have any use for it. I'd highlight a sentence I loved, but then do nothing with it. Thanks to this app I can now actually export everything. I'm a little unhinged and I pull everything into a spreadsheet which I then organize into all sorts of categories, but that's me and my crazy brain. But honestly, the Clippings interface itself is super helpful and I love being able to search for something by word or book. Truly, my writing has improved so much since having a clear way to organize and review all the highlights I've saved. I've had no problems exporting both manually or using the Chrome extension. After nearly 2 years of using this tool there's been one bug, which I reported to Jim, who fixed it SUPER fast and was very lovely and communicative over email. I honestly can't recommend this app enough. Such a gamechanger for writers.
