chrome-pass (ZX2C4) is a simple extension that integrates the standard Unix password manager, pass, with Chrome. This extension requires the chrome-pass Python package and the pass password manager installed on your machine, with your password store located at $HOME/.password-store. IMPORTANT:

To install the chrome-pass python package in Ubuntu:

My password manager of choice for many years. It is NOT for new users, or users that don't like the console. I have my master private/public keypair on a remote PC, I create and sign new keypairs every 3 years and use that. So far it has been terribly useful.

The native app can't even be installed, rendering the plugin useless. Gives the error "error: option --single-version-externally-managed not recognized"
