Text-Only Mode is a Chrome extension that allows you to view web pages without images or multimedia, preserving layout and colors. You can activate or deactivate Text-Only Mode for an already-open page by clicking the Text-Only Mode icon next to the OmniBar.

Only work on click not work automatically for new page. It decrees its utility. But on click it definitely work better than any other similar extension.

did not work, I still got all the ads and other 'fancy' formating on the page. I ONLY WANT THE TEXT!
