What is URL Alias?
URL Alias is a Chrome extension that allows users to set alias for frequently visited URLs. For example, it can redirect the alias 'm/' to 'mail.google.com', making browsing easier and faster. It also supports dynamic aliases using ### as a placeholder. The settings are synced with your Google account, and thus preserved even if you switch computers. The extension aims to optimize your web browsing experience by reducing the time taken to type long URLs.

Sure wish this still worked. it should probably be removed from Chrome if it isn't going to be fixed :-( It looks like it should work except that ... it just doesn't do anything. very sad.
