URL Alias allows the user to define a short alias for a url, in order to access websites faster.

URL Alias is a Chrome extension that enables users to define short aliases for URLs. By creating simple aliases, users can easily access websites faster from the address bar. With a button on the address bar, users can quickly create aliases similar to bookmarks. To use an alias, simply prefix it with a slash (/) in the address bar. Existing aliases can be viewed and edited by opening the extensions popup and clicking 'My aliases'.

It would be interesting to have an option to sync with Google account, to use the data on other devices. If it's easier, being able to export to import on another device would be nice.
