The HTML5 Audio Description extension enables screenreader users to access audio description tracks embedded in HTML5 videos, improving navigation and understanding of media content. Designed primarily for ChromeVox and partially for Mac OS X VoiceOver, it requires activation of the "Enable <track> element" experimental feature in Chrome settings. This tool depends on your screenreader's language support to read descriptions.

As an open-source component of the Axs-Chrome project, this extension contributes to making online video content more accessible.
