What is Dark Reader Dark?
Dark Reader Dark is a Chrome Extension specifically designed for an ultimate eye-friendly browsing experience. Unlike other similar extensions, it intelligently converts bright web pages into relaxing, visually comfortable, dark-themed pages. In addition, it offers filter adjustment, font settings, and an ignore list for personalized use. It is most beneficial for developers and those who engage in night or daily extensive browsing. Its smart technology is not limited to mere color inversion but it also involves deluminating and high-contrast transformation of websites.

Summary

This is a clone of original Dark Reader located at https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dark-reader/eimadpbcbfnmbkopoojfekhnkhdbieeh?hl=en and https://github.com/alexanderby/darkreader

*** This version does not have the problem of the original Dark Reader not inverting some part of the page: https://github.com/darkreader/darkreader/issues/2256

The difference is this variant is not trying to be 'smart' and just makes dark everything it can, including all images, videos, iframes, etc. In rare occasions when you may want to see a page uninverted, just use a hotkey to switch between light/dark mode.

Also it adds a black new tab page.

This clone is useful for developers that want to keep their eyes safe.

did what I needed it to do and with websites like Grammarly, you can actually see the text you’re writing unlike other dark mode extensions so I'm impressed.
