The extension uses a non-persistent background page ensuring minimal resource usage.

Tried several, none were satisfying. This one is excellent, just a click on the icon to switch mode without the need to access parameters. I saw a comment regarding the bricky style (which I can understand, of course) but from my side, I think it is pretty original and I like it. I have to mention that I use dark mode only during the night. Cheers :-)
