User Reviews

Users generally can view their electricity usage and pay bills, and an outage map helps during outages. However, the app suffers from persistent authentication and payment problems: frequent password resets and login failures, unreliable biometrics, unclear or missing pending payment indicators, activation/sign-in loops, and annoying UI friction. Core features exist but stability and authentication reliability need significant fixes.
Pros
  • Core functionality exists to view usage and pay bills.
  • Outage map provides outage information during events.
  • The app exposes usage data and billing history for users.
Cons
  • Frequent login and password reset failures, with resets not arriving or links missing.
  • Biometric logins (Face ID/Touch ID) don’t persist or reliably work, forcing password entry.
  • Billing status is unreliable (pending payments not clearly shown, risk of duplicate charges).
  • Activation and sign-in flows can loop or fail, with activation links not functioning.
  • UI/UX friction and instability (login screen issues, repeated sign-outs, input barriers).

Can’t even use the damn thing you’re constantly having to reset passwords that it will then forget the next time you try to use it

The app login screen is half used up on my iPhone by pretty pictures that change. The rest of the screen is occupied by the keyboard, which means it is nearly impossible to select the field to type in username and password. Somehow I succeeded, and it provides less outage information than their telephone system. Why bother?

Would rate ZERO if I could. This has been going on for a VERY LONG TIME. Check your dang reviews. People have been saying the SAME THING over and over and over again. This happened EVERY MONTH and EVERY TIME I try to use the app. Face ID doesn't work or save. Forces to use username and password. Password not accepted and it forces you to change it due to "security policies". Try to test password and the email it sends doesn't send the link to actually reset the password. Have to call in order to get a password reset email sent. Log in with rep on phone and all is good. Log out and try to log back in and you're back in the EXACTT SAME POSITION. Same thing happens in the website. I have to change my password EVERY MONTH. WHY!?what in the actual eff are you guys doing? Fix this garbage before people stop paying you at all and go independent from city power
