Mike Singleton's '85 classic Adventure Strategy sequel to The Lords of Midnight, brought to and updated for iOS.

"It is many moons now since the Lords of Midnight first appeared out of the soft, wearing gloom. Those of you who took up their challenge and rode with them to battle against the cruel Witchking will need no reminding of that epic struggle. But now a new epic tale unfolds, the story of Doomdark’s Revenge. The game itself involves both quest and warfare, both exploration and careful strategy. You can play on your own or with friends; there are enough different characters at your command for all the family to join in and struggle against Shareth Heartstealer, Empress of the frozen Empire!" - Mike Singleton - 1985

Praise for The Lords of Midnight iOS.

"Lords of Midnight does story-based, large-scope, high-fantasy warfare better than most titles I can think of, iOS or otherwise."

Excellent update to what remains a simple but hugely enjoyable strategy game.... The adventure almost inevitably climaxing with Shareth appearing out of the fog with her legions of Iceguard and bands of treacherous Dwarves, Giants and Fey. On a more practical note, the ability to group lords was particularly welcome. And the inscription to Mike Singleton, inscribed upon one of the northern temples, was an understated, but rather touching moment.

A worthy sequel to a groundbreaking early game.

For those of us old enough to remember the 80's and late nights hunched over their ZX Spectrum, Mike Singleton's classic Doomdark's Revenge is now available on your IPad! It's exactly as you remember it with its iconic graphics and compelling game play for anybody who likes strategy/adventure games. The back story is a rich world which follows the events of the original game Lords of midnight and will not disappoint. This game is tremendous value and one that begs more plays after months. Travel around the Icemark through the eyes of Luxor and other lords you recruit as you build allies and armies before the inevitable clash with Shareth the Heartstealer. If this wasn't enough, there's also the small matter of Luxor's son who is missing and under the spell of Shareth, somewhere in the Icemark. Perhaps the most satisfying aspect of the game is the way the developer is so approachable and quick to interact with players online. This is a work of love.i can't recommend this game highly enough.
