Two ways to block:

Hold to block. Press and hold, and every app on your distraction list is shut until you lift it. Reversible any time. This is the everyday one.

Hard block. Pick a length on the dial and commit. It cannot be ended early, so the decision is made once, by the version of you that was thinking clearly.

Schedules run it for you. Set 9am to 3pm on weekdays and the shield goes up on its own, whether or not you open the app.

Daily limits cap how long an app gets. Cross the limit and it stays blocked until midnight.

Everything stays on your phone. No account, no sign up. Lion Block uses Apple's Screen Time framework, which is the only way an iPhone app can block another app.
