Runner Lock requires an active Runner Lock Premium subscription after the 3-day free trial to configure and use Daily Lock, including app blocking, scheduling, workout or destination verification, and progress history. Subscription options and localized prices are shown in the app before purchase.

Runner Lock turns app blocking into a reason to move. At the time you choose, it blocks the distracting apps you selected. Complete your chosen rule, check it in Runner Lock, and your apps stay unlocked until your next Daily Lock.

Choose one daily goal: finish a workout or reach a saved destination. Complete it to unlock your apps.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Choose the apps or categories that distract you.
2. Set the days and time for your Daily Lock.
3. Choose Workout or Destination as your unlock rule.
4. Complete your rule and check it in Runner Lock.
5. Use your apps normally until the next Daily Lock.

UNLOCK WITH A WORKOUT

Runner Lock checks workouts already recorded in Apple Health. A walk, run, bike ride, strength session, or other supported workout can count when it meets the minimum duration you set.

There is no camera-based exercise check and no need to perform special reps for the app. Keep using the Apple Watch or workout app you already use. Workouts added manually to Apple Health do not count toward unlocking.

UNLOCK AT A DESTINATION

Save a place you want to reach, such as your gym, a park, or a track. When you arrive, tap Check Location. Runner Lock checks your current location once to confirm that you are there. It does not continuously track your route.

BUILT WITH PRIVACY IN MIND

Workout, Screen Time, and location checks are processed on your device. Runner Lock checks your location only when you ask and does not save a record of your route. There are no user accounts, third-party ads, or cross-app tracking.

Runner Lock is a habit tool. It does not provide medical advice or decide whether exercise is safe for you. On days when you need a break, Emergency unlock keeps your apps available until the next Daily Lock.

Screen Time permission is required to block selected apps. Workout verification requires Apple Health permission. Destination verification requires Location Services.

Runner Lock Premium is an auto-renewable subscription. The trial period, billing period, and localized price are shown in the app before purchase. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store account settings.
