A printed rota is out of date the moment it is printed. Shifts puts the live one in every steward's pocket, with their badge, certificates and a way to report a hazard.

SafetyDocs Shifts is the app your stewards carry. It replaces the printed rota, the group text and the clipboard with something that is live, and it records what actually happened as it happens.

Every shift they are booked on, across every event and every venue, updated the moment the control room changes anything.

An availability form they fill in from the bus, so you know who you have before you build the rota rather than after it falls apart.

A digital badge for check in and check out, protected by Face ID so nobody else can sign on in their name.

Their certificates and training records, uploaded from the phone, with expiry dates tracked and a lapsed licence flagged before it becomes your problem at a gate.

A way to report a safety concern from where they are standing, with a photograph and the location attached, instead of trying to describe a spot over a radio.

A live view of their own team, post by post and shift by shift, showing who is on and who has not turned up.

One tap to mark a steward arrived or stood down, timed and recorded.

Zone headcounts recorded on the spot, so capacity is a number rather than an impression.

Push notifications that reach a steward on their lock screen, so a shift change is communicated in seconds rather than left to whoever answers their phone.

Check in and check out timestamps against posts, so at any moment you know who is where.

Concern reports arriving with a photograph and a location while the issue is still in front of somebody.

EVIDENCE, NOT PAPERWORK

Who was on which post. What time they arrived. Whether their licence was in date. What was reported, from where, and when. It is recorded as the shift runs, not reconstructed afterwards from memory and a clipboard, which is the difference between having an answer for a Safety Advisory Group and having a story.

The app opens with no mobile signal. Concourses, back of house and loading bays are exactly where coverage disappears and exactly where a steward needs their shift and their badge.

ACCOUNTS

SafetyDocs Shifts is for event stewarding staff. Accounts are issued by the venue or event organiser you work for, and there is no public sign up. If you are a steward and cannot sign in, speak to your overseer.
