Trails is a mountain-bike map that rides with you. Marked MTB trails around you, colour-coded by difficulty, on a 3D terrain map that picks the right view on its own as you ride. Plan a route by tapping the trails you want, record your rides with photos, and replay any ride as a cinematic flyover video — with the day’s trail conditions painted right onto the terrain.

PLAN • Tap-to-build route planner — tap a trail and it selects to the next fork; keep tapping and Trails links the gaps. Distance, climb and difficulty as you build. • Met your own route on a round? One tap closes the loop back to the start. • Save, rename and re-ride your routes, share them as GPX, or preview any route as a flyover before you commit your legs to it.

RIDE • Live GPS with an adaptive 3D map — terrain view on the trail, clean street view on the approach, bird’s-eye for the big picture. No tapping. • Record rides with the screen locked — a lock-screen Live Activity shows distance and time while you ride. • Live elevation read — the gradient ahead colour-graded from mellow to chunky, so a steep pitch is never a surprise. • Smart recording that pauses when you stop and catches every metre of slow technical climbing.

REMEMBER • Ride summary the moment you stop: distance, climb, average speed, how much was singletrack vs road, and the day’s weather. • Add photos to a ride and they pin themselves to the exact spot on the track. • Replay any ride as a flyover — a terrain-hugging camera that banks through your turns, slows past your photos, and marks every summit. Export it as a video to your Photos with one tap. • A personal heatmap of every trail you’ve ever ridden.

KNOW THE CONDITIONS • Trail conditions painted onto the terrain: dry, damp or wet, built from rain and sun history, the shape of the land and — in Norway — the ground itself. Most accurate in the Nordics, works worldwide. • One tap after a ride (“Dry / Mixed / Wet”) teaches the model your trails.

BUILT FOR RIDING • Difficulty-coded trails — more than 500,000 real MTB trails worldwide. • Satellite texture on the 3D terrain when you want the real ground. • Dark and high-contrast themes for deep shade and bright sun; haptics so you can feel the app respond without looking down. • Rode a trail that isn’t on the map? Report it to OpenStreetMap from the ride summary and grow the map for everyone.
