ALERTS THE DAY IT CHANGES Turn alerts on and Creel notifies you the moment a species opens or closes in your region, when CDPH publishes a shellfish advisory, and when CDFW issues an emergency in-season rule change. Tap the alert and you land on the species or the advisory. Nothing else is ever sent, and you can switch them off in Settings.

WHAT A CITATION ACTUALLY COSTS Not sure a fish is legal? Check the fine before it goes in the bag. Creel shows penalty exposure per species, what a Fish and Game violation runs once the court adds its charges, and the two ways a charge gets cheaper.
