Key features include replacing the need for a paper licence by linking to your BC Tidal Waters Sport Fishing Licence to permanently record, store, and display mandatory catch information (Chinook salmon, halibut, lingcod), ensuring proof of your current licence; up-to-date official regulations including closures and contamination areas; updated catch log and species ID for recording catches and accessing historical data; CTAG (Certified Tidal Angling Guides) support for DFO catch log requirements; UBC Enhanced Catch Log for Chinook and Coho data for researchers; and location-based marine weather forecasts.
