Getting a reading from the AirPods Pro 3 sensor normally means starting a workout. Ear Beats takes a different path: it reads the same sensor without ever finishing a workout, so it never logs a workout entry. Ear Beats never logs a workout, so your Activity rings stay yours.

Heart rate starts the moment your AirPods go in — on your Lock Screen, in a widget, in the Dynamic Island. No workout entry, and no calorie sample, is ever written to Health.

Ear Beats has no account, no server, and no analytics. Your heart-rate data never leaves your iPhone except to your own private iCloud. Nothing is sold. Nothing is tracked. The privacy label says "Data Not Collected" — and means it.
