THE tether

THE tether is a wireless photo review and session workflow app built for photographers who need fast on-set image review.

THE tether supports selected Nikon, Sony, and Canon cameras. Canon support requires Camera Control API, also known as CCAPI.

Receive JPG images while shooting, review them instantly on iPad or iPhone, rate selected photos, match RAW files, download rated RAW files when supported, and export selected JPG/RAW files into organized session folders.

You can also import photos already stored on the camera. Camera Import supports JPG, RAW, and JPG+RAW workflows on supported cameras. JPG Camera Import is available for free, while RAW and JPG+RAW Camera Import require Pro.

THE tether supports Wi-Fi Router Mode and Direct Camera Wi-Fi where available, allowing photographers to choose the connection method that best fits the shooting environment. For the most stable workflow, a 5 GHz Wi-Fi router is recommended. A small portable Wi-Fi router can also be used outdoors and does not need an internet connection.
