Dispatches imports to your iPhone first. Your photos only move when you send them. Calendar access, notifications, and online captioning are all under your control. Online captioning is optional and off by default — when you turn it on and start an Event Brief, Dispatches sends only your brief text (typed or dictated — voice notes are transcribed on your iPhone first — and, if you link a calendar event, its title, time, location, and notes), the event's location, and the event's date and approximate time to Google's Gemini service to draft richer captions. Your photos, per-photo metadata, and raw voice audio never leave your iPhone.
