Clippn Dashboard is the field tool for news contributors. Film it, file it, send it — straight from your phone to the newsroom.

It is built for the conditions journalists actually work in: a weak cellular signal at the edge of an event, a phone that rings mid-transfer, a train going into a tunnel. The upload keeps going, and picks up where it left off.

SEND FOOTAGE FROM THE FIELD • Pick clips from your camera roll and send them as one package • Add the detail the newsroom needs: description, location, date shot, notes • Set an embargo, or file on behalf of another contributor • Notify your assignment editor when the package lands

UPLOADS THAT SURVIVE THE REAL WORLD • Transfers continue while the app is in the background or the phone is locked • Lose signal and it pauses, then resumes on its own when you are back • Close the app, or run out of battery — resume from where the server actually got to, not from zero • Watch progress per file, with an honest speed and time estimate • On a slow link, progress is shown in kilobytes so you can see it moving

An account is required. Accounts are created by your newsroom's administrator — the app is for accredited contributors and newsroom staff.
