Trainer that adapts to you
An AI race coach that adapts when life happens. Marathons, triathlons, ultras, cycling — your plan adapts around sleep, travel, illness, and busy weeks.
Train for any race. Adapt when life happens.
Race1 Trainer is an AI coaching companion for endurance athletes — marathoners, triathletes, ultrarunners, cyclists, anyone with a race on the calendar. Instead of a static PDF plan that goes stale the first time you miss a workout, you get a coach that rewrites the plan when life gets in the way.
BUILT FOR REAL LIFE
Things the coach rolls with:
• A week of work travel — sessions shift, volume drops, key workouts move
• Illness or injury — plan pauses, eases back in, no lost-fitness panic
• A bad night of sleep — today's hard session becomes tomorrow's
• Weather you can't train in — indoor alternatives proposed in chat
• A spontaneous race you want to add — prep races slot into the build
• A brutal week at work — recovery days where you need them
Most plans break the first time reality intervenes. This one bends.
HOW IT WORKS
Onboarding (about 5 minutes)
Tell the coach what race you're training for, when it is, your experience level, and your weekly availability. Connect Apple Health so it can see your actual workout history. The coach builds a plan that starts from where you are — not where some textbook athlete is.
Daily training view
Every day opens with today's session: type, duration, target zone, coaching notes. Completed workouts pull in from your watch automatically and match against the plan. No logging. No spreadsheets.
Morning Check-In
A short conversational check-in each morning, informed by last night's sleep and today's plan. Reply if you're exhausted, sore, crushing it, or anywhere between. The coach adjusts today's session before you lace up.
Plan Negotiation (the core idea)
Life happens. You travel. You get sick. A tough week knocks out three sessions. Tell the coach what's going on and it proposes a revised plan — shifted long runs, reduced volume, rearranged key workouts. You see a visual diff card and tap Accept, Modify, or Reject. No guessing what the AI is about to do. Nothing changes without your sign-off.
Race-Week Intelligence
As race day approaches, the coach layers in course-specific context: altitude delta vs. your training elevation, expected weather, pacing tuned to the terrain, and phase-appropriate prep (heat acclimation, travel timing, taper intensity).
Performance Thresholds (optional)
If you know your FTP, threshold run pace, or swim CSS, mention them in chat once. Pacing targets become specific numbers ("8:15/mi on the long run") instead of effort descriptors. No settings screen — the coach just remembers.

WHO IT'S FOR
First-time racers who want a real coach's attention without the monthly retainer. Experienced athletes frustrated by rigid plans that won't flex. Anyone who has ever scrapped a perfectly-planned training block because life didn't cooperate — and wished their plan could keep up instead of starting over.
WHAT IT ISN'T
Not a workout recorder — your watch handles that. Not a social feed. It's one focused conversation about getting you to the start line fit, healthy, and ready for whatever race is on your calendar.
PRIVACY
Your training plan and health data live on your device. Chats with your coach are sent to our AI provider to generate responses. Clear history anytime from Settings.
