Trailia is a trail running coaching platform that builds and manages your training plan using AI, your actual activity history, and proven sports science principles. It's not a generic plan generator. It analyzes your Strava and Garmin data, your race goals, your weekly schedule, and your terrain access to create something that actually fits your life.
How your plan is built
Every plan is structured around periodization: Base, Build, and Taper phases sized to your race date and experience level. The AI applies progressive overload and recovery optimization across running workouts (easy, tempo, intervals, hill repeats, long runs) and optional strength sessions. When you complete a workout and log how it felt, the plan adapts going forward.
Your AI coach, always available
The AI Coach Chat is available on every page. Ask it anything: why a workout is scheduled this way, how to handle a hard week, what to eat before your race. It knows your plan, your history, and your goals.
Race preparation
Set a race goal with distance, elevation, terrain, and target date. Upload your GPX course file and Trailia generates a three-tier finish time prediction (fastest, most likely, slowest) with a confidence rating, key training gaps, focus areas for the weeks ahead, and a race-day strategy. Nutrition and fueling plans are generated for race day and integrated into your long training runs as practice sessions.
Daily readiness
Your daily readiness score pulls from training load, HRV data, and recovery metrics to tell you how prepared your body is before you head out. Contributing factors are shown so you understand what's driving the number.
Analytics that mean something
View your distance, elevation, pace, heart rate zones, cadence, and training load trends over 7, 30, or 90 days, or a custom range. The ACWR chart helps you manage injury risk. Week-over-Week and Month-over-Month comparisons show you exactly how your training is trending.
Activity tracking
Connect Strava, Garmin Connect, or Polar Flow. Import GPX, FIT, or CSV files manually. Activities are matched to your planned workouts automatically, and the AI reviews each completed session with specific feedback on pacing, effort distribution, and what to adjust next time.
