I would absolutely say STAY AWAY from this app if someone is in a crisis or having a mental health issue. I used the app to take one of their assessments, and only encountered the Bot to see where my results were located. The Bot immediately began to antagonize me, saying things like “It sounds like you’re angry because you didn’t get immediate results.” Etc. etc. I never sounded angry, it was a simple question that I thought a chatbot might resolve. I took an 81 question assessment just out of curiosity. Never got results. Was not aware it was behind a paywall (whole other issue, although less concerning). I just had the “pleasure” of encountering an extremely aggressive and gaslighting chatbot. I wholly DO NOT recommend this app. This is the sort of irresponsible chatbot and company that causes young people in particular to harm themselves. Of course I know it’s just a stupid Bot, but this company needs to do some serious work on their AI systems.
