UPDATE:
Ok, I’ve added some stars. Mr Dickinson reached out directly and I was able to communicate my concerns. He added a video to explain the privacy policies and use of provided information. The workplace info is optional, so I skipped that, and I was able to use an anonymous first name and didn’t have to provide a name
I still can’t go to 5 stars because I’m unclear why my phone number is required to sign up as that’s an acutely identifying piece of data, but I was willing to trust the process for now to see what the app has to offer.
I haven’t had a lot of time on it yet, but I see some features I’m interested in trying out. Leaving my original review below to provide context for the update and so that the nature of my concerns as they were are clear.
While I like the idea of the anonymous workplace suggestion box/feedback, I’m paranoid enough to have concerns. But then I work on a small unit and it works probably be obvious who was giving them feedback lol
_______Original Review______
I just downloaded the app after seeing some of the developers videos and info on LinkedIn. Unfortunately I just made it through the sign up process (wish I hadn’t) which asked for WAY too much personal info (phone number, email, ***facility where I work***, ***first and last names***). By the time they asked me for my workplace, I was already giving fake information because it was running counter to the anonymous and safe sharing space they kept presenting this app as being.
Then, after mining all this personal data, the first thing is another gorilla video telling me that sharing my stories with other nurses on the app will make me feel less burnt out.
No. It won’t. And how is it anonymous if I’ve been made to give a bunch of personal and professional information prior to being allowed on the app?
Decent idea, poor implementation. At least as far as the initial set up process goes.
Now I need to find a way to delete the info I gave before I started giving fake details. My bad.

I’ve tried other apps to help with burnout, this one actually has real tools and insight to support nurses. The ability to share a story or advice really helps me in the moment to decompress and it feels good to know I’m helping others at the same time.
