DISCLAIMER This app enhances low-light image capture using LiDAR technology on compatible devices. It is not a traditional night vision tool and does not use hardware infrared or thermal sensors. Some ambient visibility is required for optimal results. All screenshots are taken directly from the app.

COMMON QUESTIONS Is this real night vision? No, and we would rather say it here than let you find out after installing. An iPhone has no infrared or thermal sensor. On LiDAR models the app uses the depth sensor, which works in the dark up to about five metres; on every other device it is computational enhancement of a dim image, and some ambient light is needed.

Which iPhones have LiDAR? iPhone 12 Pro and newer Pro models, and iPad Pro. On those you get the depth mode. The low-light filters run on any iPhone or iPad.

Does it work in complete darkness? Only in LiDAR depth mode, and only within the sensor's range. A camera filter cannot make light that is not there.

Can it record video? Yes, with the night effects applied as you record.

Does it need internet? No.

Are the screenshots real? Yes. All of them are taken straight from the app, with no retouching.
