I am a first time mom and I have asked the AI experts a thousand questions trying to understand my new baby and what to expect from her. Not only do they answer my questions and help me understand why she does certain things, they let me know I am doing a good thing by asking these questions or noticing things. It sounds silly, but as someone who has never done this before and is on little sleep all hours of the night, it not only gives me the answers I need but the reassurance to push through the hard phases. Though they are AI, I feel seen and validated, which just helps me break down a little less in those newborn trenches.

My wife and I had a daughter 3 months ago. A photographer came and took photos of our baby, and we wanted to buy them. All photo packages had a MANDATORY 3 month subscription to Joy Parenting. We could not get the photos of our daughter without singing up for this app lol. I told the photographer I would not use the service, and she said thats fine, the first 3 months are a complimentary part of the photo bundle, and then it would not auto-renew. Well, on our child’s 3 month birthday, guess who I see a charge from? Joy Parenting. It is extremely predatory to unknowingly sign up new parents (who are facing probably the biggest change of their lives) for your app.
