Track & Rank Your Lifts

Features & Capabilities

WeLift: Ranked Lifting turns every workout into a competition. Its real-time ranking places your lifts against athletes with similar age, weight, and experience. Log any exercise from the library or create a custom move; the app estimates your one-rep max (1RM) and updates your position on global and local leaderboards. View progress on charts that show strength gains, 1RM trends, and consistency with filters for date, exercise, and body-weight category.

Beyond numbers, WeLift adds a social layer: follow friends, share updates, receive notifications when records fall, and challenge a teammate with deadlines. Build personalized programs, use built-in rest timers and goals, and get auto-adjusted weight suggestions. The extensive exercise library includes video demos and safety tips; HealthKit integration, data exports, and shareable snapshots keep your fitness journey in one place.

User Reviews

WeLift is viewed positively for its solid progress tracking, detailed stats/graphics, and a sleek, easy-to-use UI. Reviewers appreciate the free tier offering substantial features and value. The main recurring drawback is the lack of forearm content on the muscle chart and a desire for more forearm-focused workouts, highlighting a clear area for growth in a newer app poised to expand.
Pros
  • Strong progress tracking with detailed stats and graphics.
  • Sleek, simple, and easy-to-use UI.
  • Generous free features and strong value in the free tier.
Cons
  • Missing forearm (and calf) content on the muscle chart and a need for more forearm-focused workouts.

It doesn’t even let you put your age which makes it really inaccurate

The app gives a decent amount of things for a free vs paid structure. You can track records and whole workouts, while also being able to know where you stand (roughly, more detail in paid version) with the general pop. Only thing I could wish for is a way for free users to check their ranks without having to buy into the system, such as seeing your own bench record (not leaderboard). The only way I seem to find it is after you complete a workout. It would be nice so you can still review your improvements against yourself, not necessarily against everyone (since that is already in the app but paid). Other than that, not a bad app for free users, just understand that you are looking at maybe 50% of the app if you don’t pay. Overall: 3/5 for free users. would bump to 4 if they add that feature I mentioned.

Obviously this app is relatively new but I’ve used it for about 2 weeks and it tracks progress well and give a lot more information on workouts then expected. Data is tracked by global positioning as well as relativity to your body weight. I would like to see an option for super and drop sets in the future. But overall has a lot of features that are super helpful
