Users largely value Tandem Mobi for core diabetes-management features (bolus flexibility, temp basals, multiple profiles) and the Control IQ integration. However, many reviews cite persistent issues: intrusive, poorly customizable alerts; Bluetooth/CGM connectivity drops; clunky authentication and reminder UX; slow updates and compatibility problems with new devices; and inflexible alarms that drain battery. Improvements in alert controls, connectivity reliability, UI polish, and faster updates would enhance overall usability.

Alerts and notifications are noisy and poorly customizable: frequent vibrations, no snooze, duplicates with Dexcom, and no simple way to silence.
Frequent CGM/pump connectivity issues (Bluetooth) and dropped connections disrupt monitoring.
UX friction: repeated authentication prompts, slow FaceID, and confusing reminders/dates in the site reminders.
Slow software updates and device compatibility problems (e.g., not yet compatible with newer iPhone models).
Alarm behavior is rigid and hard to control (cannot disable or adjust timing easily; significant battery impact).

Recent reviews

Look I get that everything needs alarms to make sure you wake up and such and it’s not the volume or the sound that’s weird it’s that the alarm still goes off while it’s charging. Like the alarm it gives telling you to put it back I ?if it’s on the charger OBVIOUSLY i don’t just have it off for no reason. I just think if it’s charging the alarm shouldn’t go off but if it’s not charging and it’s off then yeah let it go off.

Slow to update anything. Needs more updates at in a quicker time frame and offer newer options sooner rather than later. While I love Mobi for its size it sucks with updates!

All in all I’m happy with the app. But please for the love of god give us the ability to shut the pump up. Not just vibrate, but a complete silent mode. Also, having to acknowledge yes or no if insulin has come out of the tubing when doing a site change is so unnecessary.
