User Reviews

Users appreciate Power of Vitality for its feature-rich health tracking and motivational potential, including workouts, education, and challenge content, and some use it to earn work incentives. However, recurring problems undermine its value: frequent data-synchronization failures with Apple Health and Fitbit; inconsistent step counts; widespread reliability glitches and slow performance; trouble importing/uploading data; and unresponsive or slow customer support. The user experience also feels dated and cumbersome, with navigation and UI issues that make it hard to find what you need. Overall, the app has potential but requires significant fixes to data accuracy, stability, and usability.
Pros
  • Feature-rich health tracking ecosystem (workouts, preventive care, articles, videos, challenges).
  • Keeps users on track and motivated to meet goals.
  • Useful for work incentives / rewards tracking.
Cons
  • Frequent data/sync failures across devices (Apple Health, Fitbit) leading to missing or undercounted steps.
  • General reliability issues: glitches, slow performance, need for frequent reinstalls.
  • Data import/upload/submission issues (MapMyFitness imports, attachment uploads freezing).
  • Poor customer support responsiveness and unhelpful interactions.
  • Dated/inefficient UX: hard to navigate, too many screens, not user-friendly.

The Vitality app was properly syncing steps with the Fitbit app until update to version 3.24.1. I’ve reinstalled the Vitality app, the Fitbit app, and removed and added syncing between Vitality and Fitbit apps. None of these steps fixed the syncing issue.

Will sometimes just not track my steps. Sometimes shorts me on steps. It’s rigged.

It’s not just the app, the desktop version is equally terrible.
