- The data/resources can serve as a starting point for the FODMAP journey.
Cons
- Diary data loss after updates with no easy recovery.

This app is pretty great. I used it to do an elimination diet, and afterwards I have been using it to track my diet. It’s not perfect, there are bugs sometimes, and I wish it would function better sometimes, but I’m still glad I bought this app and it use daily.
I really wish there was a way to input diary data from my phone when I am out, and have it sync with my ipad, where the majority of the database is stored. It is extremely time consuming to transfer the data manually. Or at least, if there was a way to export and IMPORT the diary, that would work too and avoid the problem with using cloud data. I would definitely pay extra for the option to just sync data in the cloud though!

I can look up online what foods are high FODMAP which is the only thing this app does well. I wanted a meal plan for elimination. You get recipes but no plan. It has a start the diet button but it’s more literature. There’s no support while you’re on the diet. There’s no dietitians in my area and I can look that up on their free website. The diary could be nice if it helped you along the way. It’s basically a place to take notes without any prompts to know why you’re logging what. I want my $7.99 back.

I wish there was a better way the app can be used to guide the reintroduction. If the diary entries only have specific foods to track, it would be better to then have a plan that actually helps you reintroduce these foods.
Also there may be some specific food intolerances in certain foods that should also be allowed to track. I don’t really understand why you can’t add any food item to your diary. From the food lookup you can only add a personal note, where does this get centralized? Why can’t you add the diary entry from here?
Overall great information, but the flows could really be improved. I’m resorting to tracking this stuff in a notes app just because I can’t enter in specific food items in the diary.
