HEBFCU Mobile Banking

I’ve been a loyal member of the Credit Union for over 34 years, but over the past few years I’ve become increasingly disappointed with the direction things have gone. The cost of maintaining my accounts has become excessive. Between overdraft fees, monthly service fees, annual fees, and other checking account charges, I’m paying what amounts to thousands of dollars just to keep my accounts open and active. It no longer feels like the Credit Union values long-time members. Unfortunately, customer service has also declined significantly. It has become very difficult to speak with someone who has the time or authority to help resolve concerns, leaving members feeling unheard and unsupported. As a working individual, I expect fair service and reasonable fees from a financial institution I’ve trusted for decades. Instead, I’m now seriously considering moving my checking and savings accounts elsewhere. I never expected to feel this way after more than three decades as a member, but I believe the Credit Union needs to take a hard look at how it is treating its long-time members. I’m very disappointed with my overall experience.
