SDR-Control Mobile is a native iOS app that lets you operate Icom transceivers at home or anywhere via the Internet, without extra hardware. It supports IC-705, IC-7610, IC-9700, IC-7760, IC-R8600 and IC-7300 MK2, and requires an iPhone running iOS 17+.

Key features include full control of the transceiver in all modes, local or remote operation, a logbook with auto-logging and ADIF import/export, FT8/FT4 tool, SSTV receiver, CW decoder and keyer, DX-Cluster integration, callsign lookup, and a map view showing stations with heading and distance. It also supports UDP log submission to external logging software and does not require USB cables.

Can’t even configure this the menu screens will not let me see the menus on my iPhone and will not allow me to scroll to even configure this wasted my money!!

Trying to reduce my footprint while traveling/hiking, I was looking at free apps for android. I don’t have an android tablet though, so that would’ve cost me $150 or more. Instead, I tried this app, which lets me use my iPhone instead of carrying another piece of equipment, and I can say that while it seemed expensive at first, it actually works really well and does everything I need to control the radio, and does FT8 without dragging along a laptop. Still the most expensive app I’ve purchased.
