Connect a Raspberry Pi or an IC‑705/IC‑9700 to the same Wi‑Fi and control your rig from your phone: frequency, mode, S‑meter, audio, PTT, CW, FT8, even APRS.

WifiRigCTRL is a controller app that lets you operate your amateur radio transceiver from an iPhone or iPad over Wi‑Fi. There are two connection methods:

1. Raspberry Pi (Hamlib/FastAPI) — Supports a wide range of radios with CAT control, audio streaming, CW, FT8, and APRS.
2. Direct CI‑V — Connect an IC‑705 or IC‑9700 to the same Wi‑Fi network for basic control without a Raspberry Pi. Main Features • Real‑time display of frequency, mode, and S‑meter • Change frequency, mode, TX power, squelch, and filter width • Receive‑audio playback with noise reduction • PTT control and microphone audio transmission • Wi‑Fi PTT via external devices such as M5Atom • CW decoding (up to 5 stations simultaneously) and CW transmission with presets and WPM control • BLE CW keyer support (DualKey‑BLE / RemoteKeyer‑BLE) • FT8/FT4 decoding and transmission • APRS beacon transmission using the phone’s GPS • Multiple connection profiles • API‑key authentication and WireGuard VPN remote access Requirements The app does not operate on its own. You must have one of the following: • A configured Raspberry Pi Zero 2W connected to your radio, with Hamlib/FastAPI installed • An IC‑705 or IC‑9700 for direct CI‑V operation In both cases, the device must be on the same Wi‑Fi network as your iPhone. This app contains no ads and no usage tracking. All collected data stays on the device and is never sent to external servers.
