In various aspects of our workday, we all wear a mask—literally and figuratively. However, one crucial aspect remains largely unexplored: How does wearing a mask affect our well-being?

Mask Monitor helps you understand the impact of different types of masks in various situations and how you personally adapt to them.

Some individuals have reported experiencing physical discomfort and cognitive challenges while wearing a mask. By collecting and analyzing this data, we aim to provide a clearer picture of how mask usage affects different people.

All collected data is securely and anonymously transmitted to our servers. There is no way for this data to be traced back to any specific user or device.

Data Privacy & Apple Health Integration: With the user’s prior consent, we retrieve four specific data points from the Apple Health App: • Age • Biological Sex • Blood Type • Skin Type

No additional HealthKit data is collected, and no data is altered or manipulated.

To contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of mask-wearing effects, you have the option to fill out a report card after each mask session. This allows you to log any symptoms you experience during or after wearing a mask. This feature is entirely optional.
