My core was destroyed for years after having kids. I didn’t really realize it, though, and just thought my back was messed up because I was having so much pain, even though I wasn’t overweight. After two weeks of doing this with consistency, the pants starting to go away. Three months later, no more pain. I had my butt shreds look great, and it’s like someone sucked my stomach in. Even though I didn’t lose any weight and wasnt dieting. I realize my car was literally doing nothing to hold my body together. I started doing this first thing in the morning before I had coffee. It’s the only way it actually gets done consistently. Over three months in now, and I can’t imagine going back to how my body was a few months ago. And after a couple weeks, you really start to notice how much stronger your body is getting, so you enjoy the workout tomorrow. Sometimes I think about doing more, and then realize there is no space in my life for changes or work out longer than 15 minutes. On days when I’m just feeling to be about to get my period, I do all the modifications and take all the breaks Courtney recommends. Keeps me consistent, even when I’m not feeling it. Such a great app. If you struggle with working out consistently, but you really need to build some core strength, just do this workout. Or even if you just want your butt to look better in your leggings.

It’s hard to articulate how incredible MommaStrong is and the ways it has helped me in my life. I’ve been doing it since 2017, when my first kid was a toddler. I have learned SO much about my body from the perspective of movement and how different areas and muscles interact with each other; how to properly support my pelvic floor after pregnancy and childbirth; how to practice self care in a meaningful, doable, and sustainable way; how to approach and remedy physical pain without going into panic mode; and I truly feel stronger, more grounded, and more aware in my body and mind than ever before, even after being a college athlete. MommaStrong welcomes you with open arms, sees and embraces you in whatever phase of motherhood you’re in, and walks alongside you with a beautiful mix of humor, grace, growth, and compassion, day in and day out, in the often messy, hard, and exhausting journey of being a primary caretaker.

I love love love Momma Strong - it helps me move my body so I can be more engaged as a parent to two little kids! I have been a member for 4 years, and Momma Strong has been there though pregnancies, the “hazy days” after birth, the days where I didn’t have the energy or time to do much so I did a 5 minute hack… Momma Strong is for real life - you can fit it into your life, no matter what is going on. And it helps me physically and mentally. The themes of “begin again” and “all or something” have slowly worked their way into the rest of my life and helped me in so many ways. It is the best and I will be a Momma Strong member forever.
