User Reviews

Across reviews, Qsync Pro for iOS shows significant stability and usability problems: frequent crashes, flawed folder selection during setup, and weak integration with the iOS Files app. Sync capabilities are buggy and limited, with inverted selective sync logic and problematic initial/background syncing. Offline access is often unavailable, requiring a network connection to access files. A few notes of improvement after updates exist, and some users report responsive support, but overall reliability remains a major concern.
Pros
Cons
  • Crashes and instability on iOS (crashes on launch and during use).
  • Difficulty selecting local or NAS folders during setup; the process often hangs or is unusable with poor UX for folder selection.
  • Poor integration with iOS Files: not usable to edit or access files outside the app (Files app integration doesn’t work).
  • Syncing features are buggy and limited: inverted or confusing selective sync logic, problematic initial and background syncing, and two-way sync (with Android) vs expectations.
  • Offline access to files is frequently unavailable; you often need a network connection to access synced data.

You have to tinker it to get to work perfectly which I have done and after watching NAS Compares video on the app so I feel better now that I got to work.
