User feedback for MyNuvanceHealth/Blue is overwhelmingly negative. The app is often unusable due to login issues, unreliable authentication, and blank screens. Billing features fail, links do nothing, and paying bills is cumbersome. Navigation is confusing and the app largely mirrors the website rather than offering native functionality. Appointment management is cumbersome with limited scheduling options. Data export, health-data tracking, and Apple Health integration are absent, pushing users to rely on the website.

The app is really hard to negotiate because it really just interfaces with the website. Menu names are obscure—what is a visit summary versus clinical document? It’s impossible to export data. You can’t track your data (weight, CBC, BP, etc) over time. Appointments are hard to track because you just get a long list in chronological order. For someone with a lot of appointments, that is not helpful. You used to be able to export appointments to a calendar app, but not anymore. Also the messaging system they use is absurd. The user has to select from a drop down menu that seems to list EVERY provider in the system. You can’t look up the orders your provider has issued. So you don’t actually know if they’re going to be bloodwork orders at the lab. Really frustrating and unhelpful.

Nuvance is THE WORST healthcare facility on the planet. This app is a reflection of the overall uselessness of the Nuvance organization. Neither the app nor the organization works. The billing system is non-functional on the app. It is not possible to pay in-person anywhere! Huge wait times paying by phone. Customer service staff is incompetent and rude. The only hope for this app is if the merger with Northwell happens and new developers code something that works.
