ENC charts can be downloaded for offline use and support formats including NOAA and ECDIS. They reveal critical nautical details: buoys, lights, depths, currents, seabed features, port facilities, traffic routes, and more.

The companion weather overlays provide radar, sea surface temperature, significant wave height, wind speed and direction, 12-hour rain probability, lightning density, and air temperature. NOAA updates ENCs weekly, though availability is not guaranteed. The ENC charts displayed in this app do not meet federal chart carriage regulations for regulated vessels; users should consult the Code of Federal Regulations for current federal chart carriage requirements. Working only in USA don’t purchase

This app looked so promising to me. So I purchased it, downloaded it. And all it does is show a very basic map. Oh, I can pan over to the Atlantic but it literally shows nothing more than my iPad’s Maps app does. Less in fact! I sure hope I missed something, but I don’t think so. Ugh!

I bought hoping to get more insights on bays e.g. Tampa Bay and also rivers. No such luck with this app. If you go offshore, seems alright. I don’t go offshore, so this app is useless for me.
