Navionics® Boating

Warning, if you use the Navionics Boating app, if your subscription expires, you may lose access to all your charts, not just future updates. I expected to keep my last downloaded charts, but my U.S. East Coast and Northern Caribbean charts disappeared. If this happens while you’re at sea and you can’t renew, you could be left without charts. I’d much prefer being able to keep the last downloaded charts and only lose updates. Sharing this so others aren’t caught off guard.

I understand most are in the states but I did select the North America coverage which would make one think that they would have data for that. Most lakes in my area non existent, of the lakes that did show data ONE actually was what you would hope it would be with the remainder either incorrect or only showing half the lake data, or condensing the entire lake into a wad of lines on some random corner of the lake. I played around with the app for 30 minutes then promptly cancelled. Use the seven day subscription to search your normal haunts before you are committed to paying for potentially nothing.
