Recovery

As a patient, with Recovery you get a personalised exercise and information programme that ensures your surgery is as successful as possible. The Recovery programme begins well before your operation, building up your body both physically and mentally for the impact of surgery. You will receive exercises, relevant articles and questionnaires as well as track any pain medication you take so that your recovery team have full visibility of your progress at every step of the way. Every exercise has an animated video showing exactly how to perform them correctly. You can optionally receive alerts to remind you of your exercise programme. The App also contains articles and information about pain management, goal setting and will help you adjust to life after surgery, whether your ambitions are to be pain free, or to return to maximum capability post operation.

Recovery integrates with HealthKit in order to keep track of your steps and activity to monitor your recovery from surgery. This information can be found in the overview tab of your Recovery programme.

As a clinician or physiotherapist, with the iPad App, you can view a patients progress, adjust the pacing of their exercise programme and get a real-time view of all your patients Recovery. By regularly assessing your patients progress there will be no surprises during your check-up visits ensuring that your patients operations have every chance of being a full success.
