User Reviews

RecoveryOne is widely valued for convenient, at‑home PT with remote therapist access, short sessions, clear video demos, and tangible improvements in pain and mobility. Many users also appreciate insurance coverage and cost savings. However, recurring reliability problems—especially audio cues, general bugs, and video playback/download issues—plus limited exercise customization and rigid routines—diminish the experience. Improving app stability and offering more workout customization would enhance overall satisfaction.
Pros
  • Convenience of at-home PT with flexible scheduling and short sessions (20–25 minutes) convenient for daily use
  • Easy access to licensed physical therapists via virtual visits with quick, personalized plans
  • Real, noticeable improvements in pain and mobility, comparable to in-person therapy
  • High-quality video demos and guided sessions with timers/counters to structure workouts
  • Insurance coverage and cost savings from home-based PT (reduced travel and copays)
Cons
  • Audio cues and sound playback are unreliable across sessions (often stop working)
  • Persistent bugs and stability issues (sound/video problems, occasional need to reboot, playback/download failures)
  • Limited workout customization (cannot remove or reorder exercises; routines can be static for weeks; uneven timing for left/right sides)
  • Guided mode video downloads/streaming issues can render workouts unusable

I love recovery one. Everyone I have dealt with there is very patient and supportive of your recovery. I have been doing recovery one for 21/2 years and my therapist has not once given up on me. That really means a lot. If you have the choice to use recovery one that would be the best thing for you

I was told to get this one when referred online. After using it twice I did notice it prompted me a login and took me to another app. That same day I received a load of messages from different pt people saying I was on the wrong app? This one being the wrong one. So confusing 😂
