User Reviews

Overall, reviewers praise Weightlifting App for being free, ad-free, and easy to use, with strong logging, templates, and customization that support tracking progress over time. Users love the clean UI, ability to copy templates, share workouts, and see progression metrics. The main downsides repeatedly mentioned are the lack of a notes feature for workouts, a limited exercise library with requests for more lifts and custom weights, and some usability quirks around naming workouts and navigation. Despite these gaps, the app is widely regarded as reliable and valuable for free.
Pros
  • Free and ad-free with a robust set of features (no mandatory subscriptions).
  • Easy to use with a clean UI/UX that makes logging workouts quick.
  • Strong logging and progress-tracking: log sets/reps, see last weights, and create/copy/share templates.
  • High customization: add custom exercises, build templates, and tailor workouts to your routine.
  • Reliable performance and long-term value; consistently praised as solid and useful for tracking progress.
Cons
  • Lacks a notes feature for workouts; users want to capture observations or takeaways per session.
  • Limited exercise library; users want more lifts and the ability to add custom exercises/weights.
  • Some usability quirks and a learning curve around naming workouts and navigating features.

Started losing all my data for incline bench last week. The analytics show zero instances but the past workouts still show my sets and reps. I can easily track my PRs and if I click analytics button it crashes the app :(. Loved it until now

Only app I’ve used to track my progress at the gym. I’ve been using it for a really long time and I can’t complain.
