User Reviews

Overall, reviewers praise All4Hue for deep, bridge-level control: saving scenes, per-scene fade times, and features like sunrise/sunset scheduling. Many call it the best and easiest Hue-focused app, noting reliability and powerful automation beyond the stock Hue app. However, recurring concerns include lack of Bridge Pro support and what some perceive as abandonment, slower or unresponsive developer support, and UI/UX quirks (confusing time controls and platform inconsistencies). A few report upgrade/purchase and stability issues. It remains a top choice for advanced users with caveats about updates.
Pros
  • Deep, bridge-level control with per-scene fade times and direct saving of settings to the Hue Bridge.
  • Powerful, feature-rich and easier to use than other Hue apps, enabling complex scenes and automations.
  • Reliable performance with strong scheduling, including sunrise/sunset, and robust scene management.
  • Best-in-class Hue-focused app that many users consider the go-to option for advanced setups.
  • Excellent for saving and grouping scenes for complex lighting across multiple lights.
Cons
  • Lack of Bridge Pro support and signs of abandonment; updates appear infrequent.
  • Perceived slow or unresponsive developer support and poor communication.
  • UI/UX issues: not always intuitive, with time controls and some platform quirks.
Recent reviews
Update: zero support for Bridge Pro, and app now appears abandoned. Original Review: Philips still provides no way to backup system settings. If the bridge fails, many hours of setup time can be lost. This app is currently the only way to create a backup of the Hue Bridge configuration. For that critical feature alone, it is worth the few dollars asked.

It seems it is not being updated to work with the Hue Bridge Pro. Buyer beware.

We use it with our DIYHUE emulators and it is easy to use
